Mackenzie Roof
Nautical
Whale swelling up
like waves crashing against my ribcage
like my diction when I speak words and my tongue hits the back of my teeth
Language I don't know how to assemble because I just can't remember, a game
when the opposing team disguises itself as the form of love you yearn for most
An old ship who experienced battery, covered in barnacle growths from
weathering just one too many storms
Asymmetrical, jagged, fractured, busted face split lip
stayed at someone's house last night and I don't remember how their name is
formed with my tongue and teeth.
Always staring to the future, chanting praises of the past.
